The Young Turks (TYT) made a structured analysis on Pew research center's poll on "Should society accept Homosexuality". By extrapolation, it was evident that 98% of Pakistanis dont support gay and their rights.

As you analyze the data, you'll note a not so startling fact that homosexuality is more acceptable in developed countries especially in socialist, democratic and secular countries. Where as theocracies especially the Islamic ones, rejected it out-rightly. Communist nations followed the same pattern but they are not so aggressive in projecting as the Islamic republics are.
One country that possess this extreme opposites as to what they think and what they posture is pakistan.

That same pakistan is top dog in sex searched per person for "Gay Porn". Google search data reveals that pakistanis topped the charts for searches for keyword like "Man fuc**ing Man" "SheMale sex" and so on.

Languages: Urdu, Pashto, Punjabi, Saraiki, Sindhi

Representative: Adult population (excluding the Federally Administered Tribal Areas,
Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir for security reasons as well
as areas of instability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa [formerly the North-West
Frontier Province] and Baluchistan, or roughly 18% of the population).
Disproportionately urban. The data were weighted to reflect the actual
urbanity distribution in Pakistan.
1) The very first conclusion that you draw form the above data is, people are obsessed with the wrong methods/means of sex. That's common to whole of Islamic world. A couple of years ago, pakistan topped charts for Animal porn. They searched for "Camel sex" "Horse sex" "Dog sex" "Rape pictures" etc.
2) The second conclusion is that, this phenomenon may be due to oppressive societies suddenly being open to wide doors of pornography. As general tendency, the bad things that are not to be seen are seen first.
3) The third, the administration has done nothing to overcome this problem. Infact, the administration would do nothing about it, as it wants its people to be busy over some stuff and forget away national problems. It's a slow drug that administration infuses into. I remember, the vigor in which they banned YouTube after Mohammad's movie. The ban is still on! They simply cant do the same with porn material.
4) Or might be those pakistanis were not knowing what Homosexuality is all about! It's simple. If you are attracted towards a young 16 year boy and you want to have sex with him, you are homosexual! You might think it is not as per the standard definition, but you searching for explict material on homosexual categories means that you are homosexual irrespective of you've indulged in sex with another man or not!
